Commission a portrait

A portrait of your pet or your special place, made to suit your budget: from cards and miniatures to larger canvases, in pastel, acrylic or watercolour.

Most portraits are full-colour pastel, often A4. I also work in watercolour, or in charcoal with highlights for a softer, simpler look. Many portraits are gifts, and some are of pets no longer with us; I’m always glad to help with those.

How it works

  1. Get in touch

Send a message for a no-obligation, informal chat about what you’d like.

  2. Send your photos

A few clear photos are best. See the tips below.

  3. Choose size and medium

We agree the size, medium and price before I start.

  4. I keep you updated

I send progress photos along the way, so you can see it coming together.

  5. Your finished piece

    Signed, then posted or collected.

Prices

Prices depend on the size, the medium and how many pets are in the picture, so every quote is individual. Cards and miniatures are the most affordable way to have an original; a full pastel portrait costs more and takes longer. Tell me what you have in mind and I’ll give you a price before anything starts, with no obligation.
